Advertising on TV
In today’s television, in my opinion, there are two serious drawbacks in the key of attracting viewers and advertisers:
1) 24 hours a day – it maximum that the channel can provide in the air. This is a time limit.
2) Lack targeting as such. Geography, gender, area of interest of viewers remains a mystery to the channel, even quite highly specialized.
When horrific situation with feedback on the TV, the situation with the mass exodus of advertisers to the Internet can only be plus to moneymakers, turned their attention to the potential of the Internet more than 5-7 years ago.
